Maritime radio channels changed on 1 October 2016
New Zealand, along with a number of other countries, has been required to change some maritime VHF repeater channels to make space for newly allocated international services for ship tracking and data services. Find the new chanels HERE
Automatic External Defibrillator
There is a cabinet mounted on the wall outside the RMCC which is accessable to anyone 24 hours a day , seven days a week.
Inside the cabinet is an AED which is there to be used in an emergency.
